Oral Presentation
- 15 minutes (including Q&A)
- Windows based computer and projection equipment will be provided.
- Bring your presentation in Microsoft Powerpoint format (version 2007 or lower). You are required to use your USB device to load your Microsoft Powerpoint to the computer before presentation.
- The timeslots of presentations are listed in the program schedule.
Poster Presentation
Maximum size of the poster board for each paper is 980 mm (w) x 1,390 mm (h). Each presenter is required to design and produce his/her poster according to this size. The suggested A0 template is provided but the presenter may use other types of template.
The Poster Session is scheduled from 12:30, 1 August 2012 to 15:00, 2 August 2012.
Presenters are responsible for putting up their posters on their assigned board provided before or during the morning coffee break (11:00) of 1 August 2012, and to dismantle them during the final coffee break but before the closing of the Congress in the afternoon of 2 August 2012. If the presenters fail to dismantle their posters on time, the Congress staff will dismantle them at the end of the Congress and the posters will NOT be returned to the presenters.
Presenters are advised to stand by their poster at their convenience, particularly during lunch time and coffee breaks. They are expected to answer questions and provide further details about the work on display.
Outstanding Poster Awards
Each conference participant is encouraged to participate in the Poster Session and vote his/her outstanding poster(s). The participant can give one ticket to each of his/her outstanding poster presenter(s) and he/she is allowed to vote for up to three outstanding posters (each participant can give ONLY one ticket to the presenter(s) of one poster). Each poster presenter is required to pass all tickets received to the Poster Committee at 15:00 at Reception Desk on 2 August 2012. Up to four outstanding poster awards will be selected and a certificate will be presented to each of the awarded posters at the Closing Ceremony of the Congress.
